Here at Hundleby Equestrian Centre, we cater for all those wishing to either learn to ride or to improve their existing riding skills. We provide lessons for complete beginners up to competition level riders in all equestrian disciplines. Riding has been taught here for over ten years and since early 2023 has solely been taken over by Siân who believes learning to ride should be accessible to all.
Hundleby Equestrian Centre advocates safety in all riding situations, whether that’s being on the ground with your horse or aboard. Customers are not only taught how to ride in a safe environment but they are also taught correctly and with values such as respecting the horses in mind.
Please take the time to read about our team, their individual strengths and interests, and learn about the facilities and services we have to offer. We pride ourselves in being one of few riding schools in the area that holds a 5 star council license and is regulated by the ELDC and local veterinary team.
Sian has been riding since she was 6 years old and to this day still has her first two ponies (Ceaser and Sara). Although she doesn’t teach very often in the riding school she is often found organising the array of lessons, doing the admin, marketing and everything in between as well as competing her own horse, Ziggy.
Outside of the riding school, Siân is a full-time Marketing Manager for a large franchise organisation and enjoys the mix of owning the riding school and working outside of the horses gives her!
You will often find her on the yard followed by her Cockapoo Huckleberry-Finn!
Siân truly believes Hundleby Equestrian and learning to ride should be accessible to all customers and advocates this in all that she does.
As a child, Siân found her local stables her favourite place to be and has many fond memories growing up around horses, and wants Hundleby Equestrian to have that same feel for all children today.
Siân will occasionally cover lessons, and hold showjumping and dressage clinics.
Jordan has spent many years working on yards and has been at Hundleby now for over 4 years (with only a short break in the middle!).
Jordan spent several years gaining hands on experience at an Equine College and then working at several riding schools and yards.
She is a firm favourite with many children and adults for her fun but educational lessons and is great at confidence building.
Jordan mainly works at Hundleby looking after the horses and is known for her outstanding levels of care and ensuring the Hundleby horses and ponies are always well looked after. She is very hands on and always gets stuck in, whatever is asked of her.
Becky joined Hundleby Equestrian in 2023 after realising her daughter was horse obsessed and not going to grow out of the phase!
Becky is similar to Jordan and works on the yard ensuring all ponies and horses here are well looked after and cared for.
You will recognise Becky from Pony Days where she ensures all the children have a fun filled day with hours of horsey activities!!
