🐎 Welcome to Hundleby Equestrian Centre

At Hundleby Equestrian Centre, we cater for riders of all levels—from complete beginners to those competing across equestrian disciplines. Whether you're taking your very first lesson or looking to fine-tune your skills, our team is here to support your journey.

Riding has been taught at Hundleby for over a decade, and since early 2023, the centre has been proudly owned and run by Siân, who is passionate about making riding accessible to all, no matter your background, ability, or experience.

We’re proud to have a BHS qualified coach on-site at all times, taking our teaching to the next level and ensuring that every rider receives professional, structured, and consistent instruction.

Hundleby Equestrian Centre advocates safety in all riding situations, whether that’s being on the ground with your horse or aboard. Customers are not only taught how to ride in a safe environment, but they are also taught correctly and with values such as respecting the horses in mind.

We’re also one of the few riding schools in the area to hold a 5-star council license and are fully regulated by ELDC and our local veterinary team—meaning you can trust in the highest standards of care, welfare, and professionalism.

Please take the time to read about our wonderful team, their individual strengths and interests, and explore the facilities and services we have to offer.

🐾 Siân – Yard Owner, Clinic Host & Champion of Accessible Riding

The heart behind Hundleby Equestrian, Siân has been riding since the age of six and still proudly owns her very first ponies, Ceaser and Sara. As a BHS Stage 2 Accredited Coach, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the yard—though you’re just as likely to find her managing lesson schedules, juggling admin, running marketing campaigns, or competing her beloved horse, Ziggy.

While she doesn’t teach regularly in the riding school, Siân hosts weekly clinics and offers private lessons on Thursdays, blending expert coaching with her warm, approachable style.

Outside the yard, Siân is also a full-time Marketing Manager for a national franchise brand. She thrives on the balance between her corporate role and her equestrian passion, bringing a professional edge to everything she does at Hundleby.

You’ll often see her around the stables with her trusty four-legged sidekick, Huckleberry-Finn the Cockapoo, in tow.

Siân’s vision for Hundleby is clear: a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone—especially children—can experience the same joy, safety, and belonging she once found at her childhood stables. Her commitment to making riding accessible for all is at the heart of everything Hundleby stands for.

🐴 Jordan – Horse Care Hero & Confidence-Boosting Coach

With years of hands-on experience and over four dedicated years at Hundleby (with just a quick break in between!), Jordan is a key part of our team and a firm favourite with riders young and old.

She first honed her skills at Equine College before gaining experience at several riding schools and yards, and it shows in everything she does—from delivering fun, confidence-building lessons to giving top-tier care to every horse on the yard.

Jordan is known for her incredible work ethic, no-nonsense attitude, and an uncanny ability to make nervous riders feel right at home in the saddle. Whether she’s mucking out, grooming, or teaching, Jordan always gives 110%.

📅 Catch her in the arena: Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

🍎 Pip – Saturday Instructor & Resident “Perfect Pip”

Affectionately known as “Perfect Pip” around the yard, Pip brings a calm, can-do attitude and a deep well of horsey knowledge to every Saturday at Hundleby. She’s been around horses since she could walk, and it shows in her confident, compassionate teaching style.

During the week, Pip is a full-time primary school teacher—so it’s no surprise she’s fast becoming a favourite with our younger riders. Whether she’s helping someone tack up for the first time or coaching a confident canter, Pip creates a relaxed, encouraging environment where children thrive.

As one of our resident liveries and weekend instructors, she’s a much-loved member of the Hundleby family and always ready to lend a hand (or a hoof pick!).
