Our ponies are at the heart of Hundleby Equestrian Centre. They all have their own personalities, strengths and quirks, and we carefully match our riders with the pony we feel is right for them.

CeCe was Rosie’s mum and we're thrilled that her family have trusted us to have them both at Hundleby. She's one of our lovely tots ponies and will happily look after our littlest riders all day long. She's also very partial to lots of cuddles!

Chester is a complete gentle giant and has lived in a riding school most his life doing RDA lessons. He loves to hack out and can be a little quirky!

Lulu is one of our most versatile horses. She'll happily step up or down depending on her rider's experience and is more than happy to pop a small fence. She loves hacking and exploring, but her absolute favourite thing is a trip to the beach!

Buster has been part of Hundleby for as long as we can remember and has taught many people to ride. He's a true gentle giant and a fantastic confidence giver, having also done lots of RDA work.
But don't be fooled by his gentle nature - if he knows you can ride, he'll happily step up a few gears! He absolutely loves hunting and cross country.

Bella is our resident favourite pony and it's not hard to see why! She's a true confidence giver but also loves stepping up a gear and flying over jumps. She's also Betty's mum — although you wouldn't necessarily guess it!

Betty is Bella's daughter, although you'd never know it! She's a cracking little pony who absolutely loves jumping and cross country. She does lots of beginner lessons too, but she really comes into her own in lessons with our more competent riders.

Jerry is a 14.2hh cob who loves to jump. He's suitable for a wide range of riders but really thrives when he's partnered with a more confident rider.

Beau loves to escape and then refuses to be caught! But when we have caught him, he's an excellent tots pony!

Poker is a 13hh Bransby pony who is suitable for any rider. She's a lovely addition to our riding school and can help riders of different abilities enjoy their time in the saddle.
Ceaser is the grand old age of 30 this year but many say he doesn’t look it! In his younger days he competed at British Dressage successfully with Siân and represented the Northern Region in many teams. He’s happily retired now and has been owned by Siân since he was 3 and she was 6!
Sara is another golden oldie and is also 30 years old! In her younger days, Sara and Siân used to compete in gymkhana games, working Hunter and showjumping. Sara used to win the games everytime out as she loved nothing more than going quick! Her party trick was to buck as the whistle went and then go super quick to catch up! She’s happily retired but occasionally comes out to do some lead rein lessons if she’s needed!
Scampy has been a Hundleby resident for many years now and is in charge of keeping the grass low and looking after Rosie! He’s cheeky, full of character and quite naughty!
Jelly has been owned by the family for many many years now and was rescued when he was 3 out of a stable full of poo so high, he had to be dug out. He’s a companion pony and loved by everyone!
Walter is a rising 2 year old fully registered Connemara whose breeding links him to some of the most successful Irish Eventing ponies on the circuit. Siân has some high hopes for him and purchased him with the hope to event and dressage him in the future. For now, he’s in the field being a baby and growing into his very long legs!
Ziggy is the resident celebrity and will often be found competing in British Dressage or British Eventing. He’s represented the Northern Region at BD many times and was BRC Combined Training champion 2022. He loves to jump, finds new things scary and often makes everyone laugh with his antics. He’s a firm favourite on the yard and is often used for bathing on pony days!

Jumanji is Sian's 5 year old Connemara who was imported from Ireland in August 2024. Sian hopes to train him to event, but right now they are taking it slow due to him only being a baby! He's a friendly horse who loves scratches and any attention he can get!
Banoffee was born on 4th June 2024 and is Bellas baby! You’ll see her out and about and she will love lots of back scratches as she gets to know humans!
